Stewart Title announced that its Legal Services division has named Heather Sachs Illinois state underwriter. Sachs joined Stewart in 2003 and has extensive residential and commercial experience. In this role, she will provide Stewart’s network of independent title agents with underwriting support and solutions for their statewide transactions.
Sachs began her career at Stewart as a closing coordinator before working her way up to an escrow officer. She later joined the underwriting department in Chicago supporting the Commercial Services division, where she was responsible for underwriting on national projects in the areas of solar energy and high liability construction development, among others.
Sachs is certified by the Illinois Land Title Association.
