St. George Logistics along with developer Hamilton Partners announced a multi-million dollar expansion to STG’s logistics center in Chicago, Illinois.
The campus in Elk Grove Village will become STG’s new headquarters after its completion in the first quarter of 2018.
STG plans to increase the facility’s number of bay doors, expand door widths to accommodate oversized loads and implement major upgrades to lift mechanisms. The upgrades aim to reduce trucker wait times, enhance ease of access and increase the number of street turns. Moreover, the facility will feature a new trucker’s lounge with televisions, charging stations, a self-service market and other comfortable accommodations.
