Todd LaSala, a partner in the Kansas City office of law firm Stinson Leonard Street LLP, has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. Members of this college are selected by invitation only after a screening process.
With LaSala’s addition, Stinson Leonard Street has six ACREL Fellows.
ACREL consists of less than 1,000 Fellows, all of whom focus on real estate law. The organization selects a small number of Fellows each year through nominations offered by current ACREL members. An ACREL member cannot nominate a client or lawyer from his or her own law firm.
To be eligible for nomination, a lawyer must have been active in the practice of real estate law for at least 10 years, and must demonstrate the highest level of skill, client commitment, integrity and commitment to the community.
LaSala is one of only 40 real estate lawyers in the United States invited to be an ACREL Fellow in 2014. He becomes one of only 23 members practicing in the state of Missouri. LaSala is first new Fellow selected from Missouri since 2009.
