Shawnee, Kan.-based Straub Construction Company, Inc., recently expanded its presence in the Southwest Missouri area by opening a new office in tornado-ravaged Joplin, Mo.
Straub Construction has had a presence in Southwest Missouri for more than 15 years.
“We are excited for the opportunity to better serve our clients in the area,” said company president Ernest Straub, III. “We have done a variety of projects over the years and with the devastation to the City of Joplin, it only made sense for us to expand and enhance our visibility. We can now give focused attention to assisting the region with its growth and rebuilding.”
The 91-year-old company’s new office will provide the same services as its Kansas City location, but will concentrate on meeting the needs of clients in the Southwest Missouri region. Vice president Jim Calvert will manage the new operations.
