Bell Works Chicagoland, the former AT&T corporate campus in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, and the Chicago area’s first ‘metroburb’ — a self-contained metropolis in suburbia — has recently leased more than 13,800 square feet of its pre-built Ready-To-Wear designer office suites.
“These additional leases are a clear testament to the strength of our Ready-to-Wear office approach,” said Ralph Zucker, President of Inspired by Somerset Development, the developer behind Bell Works Chicagoland, in a statement. “In today’s evolving office landscape, companies are often uncertain of what their physical workspaces will look like from year to year, even month to month. Embracing fully furnished, flexible office solutions offers businesses the freedom to adapt seamlessly, accommodating the varying needs and preferences of tenants for durations that suit them best.”
The Ready-To-Wear spaces, which comprise 23,628 total square feet, feature unique, custom designs that are immediately ready to occupy and offer flexible, short-term leasing options. In addition, Ready-To-Wear tenants have access to an abundance of larger office offerings including Bell Works Chicagoland’s onsite coworking facility CoLab and its top-of-the-line conference rooms.
Q1 2024 Ready-To-Wear lease transactions include:
- PartsSource, a provider of healthcare products and solutions, leased 4,300 square feet
- Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, a real estate firm, leased 2,300 square feet
- Route One Group, a consulting company specializing in the trucking industry, leased 1,200 square feet
- Veregy, a leader in energy efficiency solutions, solar, and smart building technology, leased 1,600 square feet
- Essentra Components, a manufacturer of plastic components, renewed its 4,400 square foot lease
The recent transactions build upon Bell Works Chicagoland’s 2023 leasing momentum, where the metroburb leased more than 80,000 square feet of office and retail space, including the grand opening of Fairgrounds World’s Fair, the property’s first full-service bar and cafe totaling 5,743-square feet.
Bell Works’ Creative Director, Paola Zamudio and her team at npz studio+ curated the interior design for all Ready-to-Wear office suites. Colliers International represented Bell Works Chicagoland in the leasing transactions.
