Indianapolis’ Summit Realty Group/Cushman & Wakefield represented Helmer Inc., a leading manufacturer of laboratory and refrigerated storage products, on the build-to-suit of its new 137,500-square-foot manufacturing and global operations center in the Noblesville, Ind., Saxony Corporate Campus.

The $10.6 million expansion facility, with a targeted completion date of Fall 2012, will double the size of Helmer’s current location at 14395 Bergen Boulevard.  The expansion project is expected to add 46 new jobs by 2014, including engineering, manufacturing and sales/marketing/service positions.

Andrew Morris of Summit provided site selection and contract negotiation services for Helmer.

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. will provide Helmer up to $300,000 in performance-based tax credits, while the city of Noblesville has approved additional property-tax abatements.
