Chicago-based Ascend Real Estate Group, and its exclusive sales and marketing firm, @properties Developer Services, have announced the first closings and deliveries of residences at Superior House, a new 12-story, 33-unit luxury condominium building in Chicago’s River North neighborhood.
Located at 366 W. Superior Street, Superior House is currently 70 percent sold and has a number of residences available for immediate delivery. Remaining floor plans offer three bedrooms plus a den, ranging from 2,255 to 2,650 square feet. Prices range from $1,795,000 to $2,480,000 with deeded garage parking available from $64,000.
“As the first large-scale, new-construction condominium development to deliver since our world changed a couple of months ago, Superior House is a testament to the ingenuity and commitment of our entire project team,” said Walter Rebenson, CEO of Ascend Real Estate Group. “Our entire team including Power Construction and our union subcontractors should be commended for enacting safety protocols while maintaining a high level of quality construction, enabling our work to finish on schedule and our excited buyers to move into their new homes.”
“Superior House sets the new standard for condominium living in the River North gallery district,” said Bill Wolk, president of Ascend. “The building is state of the art and designed to offer homeowners the highest levels of comfort and convenience.”
Chicago-based FitzGerald Associates Architects executed a refined and contemporary design for Superior House, allocating only four units per floor to increase privacy, natural light and space for every homeowner. Because all homes are on a corner, each includes two exposures and a large inset terrace, which Ascend has outfitted with a high-end gas grill and cabinet system from NewAge Products.
Ascend Real Estate Group also tapped award-winning Gary Lee Partners to design the building’s interiors, as well as the lobby and amenity areas including the building’s rooftop deck, which features a fire pit with seating, outdoor bar and lounge, kitchen and dining area, vegetable and herb garden and fenced dog run. Indoor amenities include a glass-enclosed rooftop entertainment room with skyline views and a full kitchen, as well as a fully equipped fitness center.
“The level of amenities combined with the privacy of just 33 homes puts Superior House in a class by itself. This is River North’s new ‘it’ building,” said Cyndy Salgado, executive vice president of development sales for @properties Developer Services.
