The Cawthon-Labriola Group of SVN Chicago Commercial closed on a trio of properties in the Pilsen Neighborhood on September 17, 2019. A total of 21 units and a combined sales price of $2,750,000 was achieved between three separate transactions.
The sale included 818 W. 18th Street, an 11-unit mixed-use structure for $1,225,000. The building is a limestone, four-story structure just west of Halsted Street on the corner of 18th Street and Newberry Avenue. The second sale was 1838 W. 21st Place, a six-unit apartment building that was gutted and ready for renovation. This property sold for $650,000.
The last was a fully renovated and stabilized, four-unit property at 2226 W. Cermak Road along one of Pilsen’s main arteries. The units were 100 percent renovated down to the studs less than two years ago and featured high-end finishes and improvements including quartz counters, stainless steel appliances, dishwashers, in-unit washer and dryer and full HVAC. This property sold for $875,000.
