SVN Chicago Commercial brokered the $1.7 million sale of the former St. Felicitas Church Campus at 8400 S. Blackstone Ave. on Chicago’s South Side.
The expansive property includes five buildings totaling about 90,000 square feet on over two acres of land, along with a dedicated parking lot.
Paul Cawthon and Angelo Labriola of SVN Chicago Commercial represented the seller in the transaction.
The buyer, Chicago International Charter School (CICS), has leased the former school buildings on-site since 2002 for its CICS Avalon campus. With this acquisition, CICS solidifies its long-term presence and gains the opportunity to expand its educational footprint.
