SVN Chicago Commercial has completed the sale of a 12-unit apartment building at 853 W. Grace St. in Chicago for $2.475 million.
The property mix includes seven one-bedroom, one-bath apartments, two three-bedroom, one-bath units and three two-bedroom, one-bath apartments. All units include formal dining rooms.
“This property attracted a lot of attention because of its excellent condition and premier location,” said Wayne Caplan, senior vice president at SVN Chicago Commercial, who represented the buyer in the transaction. “We had to outbid numerous other potential purchasers to close on this deal, which illustrates just how desirable this building is.”
Located two blocks from Wrigley Field, 853 W. Grace is in the heart of the Wrigleyville neighborhood of Lakeview. The building also has access to public transportation, as it is located two blocks from the Sheridan El stop and is close to several major bus routes. It is also only a half-mile from Chicago’s lakefront and Lakefront Trail.
