Newmark Knight Frank Epic represented a private investor in the sale of a 175,414-square-foot industrial facility at 9600 S. Harlem Ave. in south suburban Bridgeview. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Taubensee Steel & Wire purchased the property, which sits on 10.5 acres of land. The Wheeling-based national manufacturer of quality steel bar and wire products serves primarily the East and Midwest. In addition to its headquarters in Wheeling, the company has a facility in Henderson, Ken.

The building at 9600 S. Harlem was built in 1971. It features 6,700 square feet of office space, 24-foot clear ceilings and parking for 75 trailers. The property is located with immediate access to I-294, the Tri-State Tollway. There is signage that is visible from I-294.

Phil Rosenberg, SIOR, and a principal of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, represented the seller in the transaction. Frank Griffen, Jones Lang LaSalle, represented Taubensee Steel & Wire.
