Leslie Karr and Lorile Herlihy of SVN Chicago Commercial recently negotiated the 10-year lease of a new restaurant, Lady May, a Garrett Hospitality Group concept. They represented the Landlord and were the only brokers involved in the transaction.
The “Eatery & Cocktail Parlor” serving southern coastal fare replaces the Beacon Tavern. The bi-level, 6,700-square-foot space features river views and boasts an unparalleled location, steps from Michigan Avenue, Wrigley Plaza and NBC Towers.
The property will also feature an outpost of the Michelin-starred omakase concept, Sushi|Bar, which features an intimate and whimsical modernist approach to traditional sushi stylings and has become one of the country’s most sought-after dining experiences. Set to open late 2022.
