The Boerke Company, Inc. has relocated its growing downtown Milwaukee office to a larger space, taking over the entire 7,300-square-foot seventh floor at the 731 North Jackson Street Building in the city.
The new space was designed by Creative Business Interiors, and the recently announced Boerke Management Company managed the custom tenant build-out project from start to finish.
For the past 13 years, the commercial real estate and property management company was located at the 411 East Wisconsin Center, but with recent growth and service-line additions, the company’s leadership knew a change had to be made.
“We added additional commercial real estate brokers to our retail and industrial teams this past year, and recently added more brokers to our company in just the past few weeks,” said The Boerke Company’s chief operating officer Nancy Vianes. “It made sense once the decision to move was made that we would go ‘all-in’ on designing the new space as a place our employees will enjoy working in every day, and a place where our brokers will want current and potential clients to come for meetings as often as possible.”
The Boerke Company’s office brokerage team, in accordance with Creative Business Interiors, was influential in deciding what kinds of finishes and office technology would be in the open-design concept space, which added nearly 1,200 square feet to the company’s footprint.
“When we consulted with our office design team from Creative , we had a list of must-have features that we did not wish to compromise on,” said Caitlin Collier, an office broker at The Boerke Company that also has a degree in interior design. “Adding the multitude of upgrades that our office clients love in their new spaces into our own, coupled with our overall design goal of bringing in neutral tones with a homelike feel, and the collaborative open concept design really is what brought the space together.”
