The Boerke Company sold a key three-story mixed-use building in Milwaukee — at the corner of West Pittsburg Avenue and South 1st Street in the city’s Third Ward — to an investor.
The 6,708-square-foot building had been actively marketed by The Boerke Company for only three months before it was put under contract by the qualified buyer. This shows that continued interest exists from investors for buildings in the Third Ward.
“We ended up having a bidding war on the property, and even interest in the property from potential buyers after they were told we had other offers on the table,” said Boerke Company’s associate director Kristian Sydow in a written statement.
LAS Investments, LLC is the buyer. The company has expressed interest in leasing the first floor space for retail, while plans for the two upper floors are still being finalized.
