The Building Group, a technical and service oriented property management company, has moved to 1221 North LaSalle Street and will use the space as an office and testing ground for green techniques.
The redesign and repurposing of the building, which includes apartments, commercial and retail space. The Building Group’s president, Jim Stoller, purchased the building, formerly home to Andy Frain Services and later LifeSource’s downtown office.
The building’s interior has LED lighting and VOV-free paint plus other green features such as an indoor bike rack.
Stoller founded The Building Group nearly 20 years ago and is a licensed architect and an MBA from Northwestern University.
