The Connor Group acquires Carmel Center Apartments, a luxury multifamily community located just north of Indianapolis in the city of Carmel, Indiana. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Carmel Center is The Connor Group’s third purchase in the Midwest region this year and seventh purchase overall in 2023, bringing its total assets under management to more than $4.5 billion.
Carmel Center is the Dayton, Ohio-based firm’s third property in the Indianapolis market, joining The Coil Apartments and The Domain at Bennett Farms.
Carmel Center is within walking distance of several attractions, including the popular Monon Trail, Carmel City Center shops and restaurants, and the entertainment and nightlife of Midtown Carmel. Across the street is the Carmel Farmers Market, one of the largest in Indiana.
Apartments feature in-unit washers and dryers, screened-in porches with French doors and wood-burning fireplaces, along with 9-foot ceilings, walk-in closets, and modern kitchens with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and wine refrigerators. Community amenities include a resort-inspired pool with sundeck and lounge areas, an outdoor chef’s kitchen, and a state-of-the-art fitness center.
