The Missner Group acquired 3106 S. Homan Avenue, a 2.87-acre industrial outdoor storage site on Chicago’s Southwest Side.
The property is fully leased to Schneider National, one of North America’s largest transportation and logistics companies, which runs fleet operations from the site.
The property includes a 16,000-square-foot truck maintenance building with six drive-in service bays and a paved yard for trailer and truck parking. It’s about 1.5 miles from I-55 and roughly 7 miles from downtown Chicago.
The acquisition is the latest for TMG in the Chicago area and reflects their focus on acquiring hard-to-find infill sites across Chicagoland. Properties like 3106 S. Homan, close to major highways and city’s core, are increasingly scarce as available industrial land continues to shrink.
