The Missner Group announced the completion of two office leases in Deerfield and Des Plaines, Illinois. The Missner Group owns the properties and was represented by June McCrory, vice president of property management in the lease negotiations.
In the first transaction, Commodity Forwarders leased 7,300 square feet within 500 West Touhy in Des Plaines. Commodity Forwarders is an import/export distribution company headquartered in Los Angeles with 13 offices throughout the United States. The firm is relocating from its current office in Bensenville, Illinois and chose the property for its proximity to O’Hare as well as its cooler and freezer space for the distribution of refrigerated goods. Jonathan Kohn of Colliers International represented Commodity Forwarders in the lease transaction.
In the second transaction, McCrory leased 3,100 square feet of space to Deerfield Medical within the medical office building located at 720 Osterman within the Deerfield Professional Plaza. The private medical group is relocating from its current offices located elsewhere in Deerfield. The group selected the facility for its location and efficient space configurations. Deerfield Medical was represented by Lynn Scharaga of Coldwell Banker in the lease negotiations.
I.M. Construction Group (IMCG) provided tenant improvements to both spaces on behalf of The Missner Group. Bob Nomellini, president of IMCG led the construction teams. Gensburg Ltd. will provide the architectural services.
