The Missner Group announced that the firm has completed the renovation of a 15,500 square foot existing building into a new medical office for the Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (IBJI) located at 6540 N. Lincoln Avenue in Lincolnwood, Illinois. Debb Kosich LLC was the developer for the project.
A former auto dealership, the 15,500 square foot medical clinic for IBJI now features private offices; meeting and conference rooms; medical exam rooms; physical and occupational therapy facilities; X-ray suites; and medical storage space. The Missner Group utilized various finishes and custom metal-trimmed millwork throughout as well as completed the addition of a new roof, new windows along both sides of the building and a new entrance canopy. The project also included the construction of new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems throughout the space and building signage visible from Lincoln Avenue.
The construction team for The Missner Group was led by Executive Vice President Glen Missner and included Vice President of Construction Drue Stoehr, Project Engineer Uros Stojakovic and Superintendent Len Corso. Stephen Rankin & Associates provided the architectural services. This was The Missner Group’s fourth project for IBJI; additional projects were completed in Chicago, Des Plaines and Wilmette.
