Colliers Chicago Executive Vice President Dougal Jeppe has arranged a 19,681-square-foot direct lease on behalf of The Motion Agency (Motion) at the Reid Murdoch Building located at 325 N. LaSalle Dr. in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. The creative communications agency, which serves a variety of clients in brand strategy, creative, public relations and digital services, had been a subtenant in the space since summer 2018.
Built in 1913, the Redi Murdoch building is a 325,000-square-foot office building just steps away from the Loop, Merchandise Mart and Michigan Avenue. Its magnificent river views, central location in one of the city’s trendiest neighborhoods, and many common spaces for employees to collaborate and connect, served as the main drivers for Motion’s long-term lease commitment.
Jeppe secured excellent economics on the deal in addition to several unique company perks that will aid employee retention.
