The Opus Group has hired Paul Robertson as a director of real estate development, where he will focus on identifying and executing multifamily and senior living development opportunities across Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan. Robertson will be located in Opus’ Chicago office.
“Paul is an outstanding addition to the team and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Opus,” said Mike Yungerman, senior vice president and general manager at Opus. “His skill set spans all aspects of the real estate industry and will continue to support our mission of delivering development opportunities that meet our clients’ growing needs.”
In his new role with Opus, Robertson will be responsible for site selection and acquisition, due diligence, obtaining any governmental approvals and entitlements, coordinating the design and construction as well as overseeing the marketing and leasing of each project.

Robertson is joining Opus with over 27 years of experience in commercial real estate development. His previous positions include project consultant at Greco|DeRosa Investment Group, LLC and executive vice president at JCF Real Estate, Inc. Paul received a master of science in real estate appraisal and investment analysis and a master of business administration in finance, investments and banking and a bachelor of business administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Robertson is a member of NAIOP, the commercial real estate development association; International Council of Shopping Centers and Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association.
