The Opus Group® has promoted Nick Murnane to vice president and general manager, overseeing its Minneapolis development team.
Murnane joined Opus in 2010 and has been promoted multiple times to roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as vice president, real estate development. During his tenure, he has led the development of several complex projects in Minnesota, including The Nic on Fifth®, 365 Nicollet and Vesi North Loop.
In his new role, Murnane is responsible for advancing development opportunities in all sectors in the Minnesota market. This includes leading the sourcing and pursuit of opportunities, upfront development feasibility studies, financial analysis, due diligence and entitlements for speculative and build-to-suit developments while providing managerial oversight to teams throughout construction, design and project delivery. He reports to Matt Rauenhorst, executive vice president and general manager of Opus.
Murnane is currently leading the Corsa Apartments project, a 250-unit transit-oriented multifamily development in St. Louis Park, Minn., scheduled for completion in late 2023.
