The Sanders Trust completed Mercy Health Behavioral Hospital, a new behavioral health facility in Youngstown, Ohio.
The 61,900-square-foot hospital is the result of a joint venture between Mercy Health – Youngstown and Lifepoint Behavioral Health, an operating division of Lifepoint Health.
Mercy Health Behavioral Hospital will include 72 beds and provide inpatient and outpatient services for adults and geriatric patients, including a partial hospitalization program and an intensive outpatient program. Patients will receive care for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, psychosis, personality disorders, and mental health concerns accompanied by substance use.
Mercy Health Behavioral Hospital was designed to create a therapeutic environment for patients, featuring open, airy spaces with amenities that include spacious patient rooms, community areas, outdoor courtyards, and state-of-the-art clinical spaces to support the needs of patients and families.
Mercy Health Behavioral Hospital is located at 3170 Belmont Avenue in Youngstown, Ohio, 44505. The Sanders Trust worked with general contractor Massaro Construction Group and architect Stengel Hill Architecture.
