The Woodlands, Texas-based The Signorelli Company promoted Jeff Dewese to President of Signorelli Development Company’s Land Division.
In this role, Dewese is responsible for all divisional aspects from land development to strategic planning, land acquisition, project and budget management, and team development for the company’s current and future master-planned communities across Texas. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President of the Land Division.
The Signorelli Company currently has 13 master-planned communities in development, including its largest project to date, Austin Point, a 4,700-acre transformational residential and mixed-use development in fast-growing Fort Bend County, Texas.
Dewese joined The Signorelli Company in 2017 as Development Manager, bringing more than a decade of prior experience in new home construction, purchasing, sales and land development projects.
During his tenure, Dewese has overseen the development and operations of more than a dozen communities, including Granger Pines, which was named the Greater Houston Builders Association Developer Community of the Year in 2021; Cielo, a 265-acre community in Conroe; and Austin Point located at the future intersection of Fort Bend Parkway and Grand Parkway. The Austin Point plan includes 14,000 residences and more than 1,600 acres of retail, hospitality, multifamily, medical and corporate use space, organized into integrated districts. Home sales are now underway in that community.
Dewese’s appointment comes at time of storied development activity within The Signorelli Company’s portfolio, including Valley Ranch, a 1,400-acre mix of vibrant neighborhoods and destinations in northeast Montgomery County, that features over 2,000 single-family and 1,000 multi-family homes, with additional single-family neighborhoods underway.
The community also includes Valley Ranch Town Center, an open-air shopping center nearing full occupancy and recognized as Houston’s most visited open-air shopping center by Placer.ai. Additional districts in development at Valley Ranch include The Entertainment District, featuring a 210,000-square-foot convention center under construction that will be the seventh largest in Texas; and The Marketplace,188 acres of upscale shopping and lifestyle retail district currently in lease-up, which includes Village Green, a 20-acre social and lifestyle hub offering approximately 190,000 square feet of retail space and 40,000 square feet of office space.
