Thompson Thrift Retail Group is working with Dunn Hospitality Group to bring the dual-branded Hyatt Place and Hyatt House to The Yard at Fishers District in the Indianapolis suburb of Fishers, Indiana.
The hotel will be built by Dunn Hospitality Consruction using Insulated Concrete Forms. This method of construction was recently used by Dunn’s Holiday Inn Express and Suites in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, which was named by ICF Builder Awards as the 2017 Hospitality Project of the Year.
Both the 125-room Hyatt Place and 86-room Hyatt House will feature free Wi-Fi throughout the building with remote printing, free breakfast, full-service restaurant and bar open in the evenings. The hotels will also feature on-site laundry, an indoor pool, 24-hour gym and up to 3,000 square feet of flexible shared meeting space.
Dunn estimates that it will take 15 months to build the hotel.
The Yard at Fishers District is a mixed-use district.
