Thorofare Capital expands team and nationwide footprint with launch of Dallas office

Thorofare Capital, Inc. (“Thorofare” or the “Company”), an affiliate of alternative investment manager Thorofare LLC, today announced Jonathan D. Hart has joined as a Director of Originations in the company’s newly opened Dallas office at 1919 McKinney Avenue.

Hart will drive value for the company’s investment team by adding resources to sourcing, analyzing, structuring and executing new debt originations for Thorofare’s flagship open-end investment vehicle, as well as Joint Venture’s with institutional accounts. Hart brings more than eight years of experience in real estate debt and equity from recognized, institutionally-backed CRE investment platforms.

Prior to joining Thorofare Capital, Hart opened the Dallas office as Vice President of Originations for Madison Realty Capital, a New York City-based real estate debt and equity investment firm. Previously as Assistant Vice President of commercial real estate credit manager ACORE Capital LP, he contributed to the Texas office’s $3 billion of floating rate senior mortgage and mezzanine loan originations for multifamily, industrial, office, retail, and seniors housing properties

Hart began his career as an analyst at Invesco Real Estate, the global real estate investment management subsidiary of Invesco Ltd., where he supported the valuation team for the group’s Invesco Core Real Estate-U.S.A. portfolio. He received a bachelor’s degree from The College of Charleston, earned a master’s degree from John Hopkins University and performed Ph.D. coursework as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School.
