Irvine, Calif.-based Tilly’s and Bolingbrook-based Ulta signed leases for 7,100 square feet and 8,350 square feetĀ of space respectively at River Forest Town Center.
According to Richard Spinell, principal of Mid-America Asset Management Inc., the Oakbrook Terrace-based firm representing the center, Tilly’s will open September 2013, and Ulta is set to open in August 2013.
Tilly’s is a publicly held specialty retailer of West Coast-inspired apparel, footwear and accessories. As of May 4, they operate 175 stores, with three currently listed in Geneva, Algonquin and Skokie.
Ulta is a publicly held beauty retailer that provides one-stop shopping for prestige, mass and salon products, and salon services. As of May 4, Ulta operates 576 retail stores across 46 states, with 34 stores currently listed within a 50-mile radius of Chicago.
Mid-America Vice President Liz Krebs represented the landlord in the leases, while David Metrick of Studley represented Tilly’s and Bill Argall of GreatStreet Realty Partners LLC represented Ulta.
In other leasing news at the center, LOFT recently renewed its lease for 5,065 square feet.
The 142,071 square-foot River Forest Town Center is located at the southwest corner of Lake Street and Harlem Avenue in River Forest, approximately one mile north of the Eisenhower/Harlem Avenue interchange, with anchors including Whole Foods, LOFT, DSW and Petco. The Shops of Downtown Oak Park is situated directly across from the center, anchored by Old Navy, Chico’s and Pier 1 Imports.
