Chicago-based Epstein has welcomed Tim Gustafson, AICP, as a new senior planner. Gustafson brings more than 10 years of experience in transportation planning for various modes, including roadway, transit, aviation, bicycle and pedestrian projects.
As senior planner, Gustafson will serve as project manager for transportation planning and design projects at various stages, and facilities involving multiple agencies and jurisdictions. Prior to joining Epstein, Gustafson managed the Chicago office for Alta Planning + Design, focusing on active transportation planning and design projects. He also became certified for the National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO).
Tim received his bachelor’s degree in urban planning and development from Ball State University and his master’s degree in urban planning and public affairs, with a focus on transportation, from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
