Tishman Construction has named Scott Murnick business development director for its central region of the United States. Murnick will work out of Tishman’s Chicago office.

With the national construction market continuing to recover, the Chicago area has seen a significant rise in the multi-family residential sector as well as opportunities in hospitality, higher education and mission-critical building. Murnick is responsible for further developing Tishman’s client relationships and generating new business to support the expansion of the business throughout the Midwest.

Murnick has more than 23 years of construction experience. He is an accredited LEED Green Associate. Before joining Tishman, Murnick served as regional director of construction at Clayco, Inc.
