Tishman Speyer today announced that Arrive Logistics will grow its footprint to 77,666 square feet at CME Center, Tishman Speyer’s two-tower office campus at 10 and 30 S. Wacker Drive in Chicago’s West Loop district.
As part of an 11-year, 20,600-square-foot expansion, Arrive Logistics will reconfigure its Chicago offices across the entire 23rd and 24th floors, as well as a portion of the 25th floor at Tishman Speyer’s 30 South Wacker tower. In addition to the expansion, Arrive extended its lease through the end of 2037.
Arrive Logistics’ expansion at CME Center is its third since first opening offices at the campus a decade ago. The company has undergone a remarkable transformation into one of largest firms in the freight brokerage industry. Founded in 2014, Arrive Logistics expanded from a 10-person team to nearly 2,000 employees across nine North American offices, supporting more than 4,000 customers and 10,000 core carriers.
Strategically located in Chicago’s vibrant West Loop business district, the 2.3 million-square-foot CME Center consists of two 40-story towers connected by a 10-story center structure and a 500-car parking garage. The striking towers feature large floor-to-ceiling windows, providing panoramic views overlooking the Chicago River and Wacker Drive. The two towers feature floorplates of approximately 29,000 square feet and up to 16 corner offices per floor.
Working with Chicago-based architecture practice Kreuck Sexton Partners, Tishman Speyer recently undertook an award-winning reimagining of CME Center’s lobby, façade and entrances. A striking new wavelike glass façade now encircles the property, brightening the towers’ entryways and street-level retail, while embracing the sights of the city. The redesigned lobby forms a flowing, modern boulevard between the two towers, its concourse and the river, connecting every entrance to Wacker Drive. An array of comfortable seating areas are incorporated throughout the lobby to encourage interaction and collaboration with colleagues and clients.
CME Center offers 24-hour fitness facilities and ZO Clubhouse, a premium amenity center featuring a lounge, library, bar area, boardroom, huddle and wellness rooms, and a multi-purpose conference center with seating for up to 175 people. For a quieter space to work or relax, Tishman Speyer also created the ZO Lounge.
In addition to Arrive Logistics, notable customers include Chicago Mercantile Exchange, who recently extended their commitment to the campus, Wells Fargo, BP, Reed Smith and RSM.
