Today, 131 South Dearborn has announced Donohue Brown Mathewson & Smyth LLC (DBMS) has signed a new lease with the building. DBMS will occupy 24,662 SF of the trophy class tower. DBMS will be joining tenants such as Citadel, JP Morgan Chase Bank, Constellation Brands, and Sprout Social.

DBMS is known for providing professional legal service to its clients. DMBS consistently delivers successful results in high exposure, complex bench, and jury trials and in the reviewing courts. Since its founding in 1995, DBMS has amassed an outstanding record of trial and appellate results. “We are beyond thrilled to add this prominent law firm to our exceptional tenant base,” said Jack O’Brien, Principal at The Telos Group, LLC (Telos).

As part of the building’s $35 Million renovation completed 2019, 131 South Dearborn added a luxurious tenant lounge, a full-service health club, and a tenant-exclusive rooftop deck and bar.  Additionally, the building completed an $8 million lobby renovation. 131 South Dearborn also provides tenants with Convene, a conferencing and events facility that supports meetings for over 400 attendees, and provides a lounge and coffee bar just off the lobby, in addition to coworking.

Jack O’Brien, Nikki Kern, and Colton Riemenschneider of Telos represented ownership in the transaction. Ari Klein and David Findling at Cushman & Wakefield represented DBMS.
