Triumph Construction Services Corporation has been awarded two projects in the Chicago suburbs.
The firm will begin a 21,000-square-foot expansion project at the Lutheran Church of the Atonement at 909 E. Main Street in Barrington, Ill. Construction on the church was originally completed in the early 1960’s. It underwent major structural changes and enhancements in 2010, which marked Atonement’s first expansion and renovation program in more than 20 years. The latest addition includes a new multi-purpose room, new classrooms for the day school, and a glass atrium featuring an indoor garden that connects each of the buildings.
Construction is expected to conclude in the winter of 2011. The ELCA Mission Investment Fund financed the project and Arete-Knight provided the architectural design.
Triumph has also been contracted to build a 20,000-square-foot food production facility for Gurman Food Company, a processor of Eastern European-style sausage and deli meats, at 906 Tower Road in Mundelein, Ill.
Brad Bullington of Brown Commercial represented the client and Chris Rudolph of First Bank & Trust financed the project. Pat Harris of Harris Architects provided the design.
