Kyle Rooney has been promoted to vice president and general manager of Ohio for Turner Construction Company. Rooney, based in Columbus, will be responsible for all Ohio operations, including Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus and at Turner’s Toledo-area subsidiary, The Lathrop Company.
Rooney replaces Tom Manahan, currently serving as senior vice president and general manager of all of Turner’s Ohio offices and president of Lathrop. Manahan will transition into a full-time role as senior vice president of Turner’s industrial group.
Steve Johnson, currently serving as business manager of Lathrop, will assume leadership of the Toledo-area office as its new president.
Rooney joined Turner in 1982 as a field engineer in Toledo. He was most recently named vice president and general manager of Columbus and Cincinnati in 2014.
