Two of Kansas City’s oldest commercial real estate firms are joining forces. Victor Ross & Co., founded in 1952, is joining Zimmer Real Estate Services, founded in 1948.
The company will continue operations under the Zimmer name.
Together, the two firms boast more than 120 years of service.
“Both of our firms have built our reputations and our success on a commitment to integrity and the higest quality of service to our clients,” said Hugh Zimmer, chief executive officer and chairman of Zimmer, in a written statement. “This tradition of excellence will be continued as Victor Ross brings its wealth of experience and perspective on the Kansas City market to our team at Zimmer.”
Victor Cascio will join Zimmer’s sales and leasing divisio as a vice president. Cascio joined his father’s company in 1972.
Both firms have something in common: They’ve both been led by father-son teams. David Zimmer, president of Zimmer, represents the third generation of his family to lead Zimmer.
