dd’s DISCOUNTS, a division of Ross Stores, opened two new locations in the Chicagoland area, one on the south side of Chicago and another in suburban Melrose Park. The two stores officially opened on February 9, 2019.
The Melrose Park store is a 25,000-square-foot space within the Melrose Crossing shopping center, 1921 N. Mannheim Road. Located at the northeast corner of Mannheim Road and North Avenue, the center is anchored by Tony’s Finer Foods, TJ Maxx and Burlington Coat Factory. Also 25,000 square feet in size, the Chicago store is located in the Stony Island Plaza shopping at 95th Street and Stony Island Avenue.
With these two new openings, dd’s DISCOUNTS will operate eight stores in Illinois and a total of 243 locations in 18 states. Together, Ross Dress for Less and dd’s DISCOUNTS currently operate over 1,700 off-price apparel and home fashion stores in 38 states, the District of Columbia and Guam.
