Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale of 700 E. 81st Street and 8055 S. Langley Avenue, according to David G. Bradley, regional manager of the firm’s Chicago Downtown office. The assets, which have a combined total of 25 units, were sold together for $1,100,000.
James Ziegler, a first vice president investments, and K.J. Zelenika, an associate, in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Downtown office, had the exclusive listing to market the properties on behalf of the seller. The pair also represented the buyer in the transaction.
The properties are located in the Chatham neighborhood of Chicago, just blocks away from the major retail and shopping corridor on 79th Street. Residents enjoy restaurants and shopping centers within walking distance as well as easy access to the greater Chicagoland area via nearby interstates and public transportation.
