Greenstone Partners sold the two-tenant retail property located at 2501 N. Western Avenue, in Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood. The property was 100 percent occupied with two automotive tenants that have been operating in this location since 1987 and 2015, respectively.
The property benefits from strong in-place cashflow in addition to a large billboard with premium visibility along the Kennedy Expressway (with over 250,000 vehicles per day). It also provides the ability for future redevelopment of the 13,206-square-foot land site on the hard corner of Western Avenue and the entry ramp of the Kennedy Expressway (I-90).
Greenstone Partners represented the buyer, a local private investor. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
