Pierce and Associates, a Chicago law firm founded in 1975 and serving the mortgage banking industry, has signed a lease expansion agreement totaling 77,883 square feet of space on the twelfth and thirteenth floors at One North Dearborn Street in the Central Loop.
One North Dearborn is a vintage, 248,956-square-foot Class B Holabird & Roche-designed, multi-tenant office building built in 1905 and most recently renovated in 2000.
Steve Schneider, senior vice president for UGL Services in Chicago, represented Pierce and Associates in lease negotiations for the second time.
In 2003, Mr. Schneider assisted the firm in their initial move from 18 S. Michigan Avenue into 50,000 square feet at One North Dearborn.
Gary Denenberg of MB Real Estate represented the owner, the Chetrit Group, LLC.
Because of the strong increase in property foreclosures in the U.S., Pierce and Associates had outgrown the original space as new attorneys and staff joined the firm.
Final terms of the lease agreement were not divulged.
