Ivan Baker, director of Tinley Park Economic Development, was honored April 23 with the Annual Jim Marek Alumni Appreciation Award from the UIC College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs.
The award is given to a person who is an accomplished leader in his profession and who has furthered the education of CUPPA students.
Previous award winners have included Stephen Friedman, Greg Longhini, Jack Hetrick, Peter Skosey, Richard Ciccarone, and Jodi White Jones.
