In its continuing mission to reward outstanding performance and contributions to its growth, V3 Companies has named four employees as new shareholders.
Heidi Voirol, P.E., LEED AP BD+C, will be celebrating her 16-year anniversary with V3 this year. Currently a project manager within the firm’s Transportation and Municipal Engineering Division, Heidi started her V3 career within the Land Development Division where she provided civil engineering services to commercial and residential developments. Her focus is now on the public sector where she is responsible for design and permitting strategies, preparation of plans, specifications, estimates and project coordination primarily for roadway design and Phase I study projects.
Andrew Uttan, P.E., LEED AP, is a project manager within the firm’s Land Development Division with 13 years of civil engineering experience. An 11-year veteran of V3, Andrew is responsible for managing commercial development projects from the feasibility stage through design, permitting and construction. Andrew’s technical abilities and team coordination skills have streamlined projects through to their completion. He is responsible for overseeing site development and infrastructure design, including layout, grading, stormwater management and utility design.
Chris Hoffman, P.E., is a resident engineer within the firm’s Construction Engineering Division. Chris has spent his 10 years of experience with V3, engaged in construction engineering for both infrastructure and vertical construction. His most recent experience includes roadway improvement projects for the Illinois Department of Transportation, City of Chicago Department of Transportation, the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority and county departments of transportations including Lake, McHenry and DuPage.
Ted Niemeyer, P.E., Director of Railroad Services, has more than 42 years of experience in railroad and transit system projects in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. His scope of expertise includes economic viability studies, bridge inspection and bridge/track rehabilitation. His design experience includes route selection, environmental statement preparation, negotiation and execution of permits and agreements for construction, and preparation of bid packages. Ted has provided due diligence evaluations for rail-related construction, maintenance, operations and acquisition analysis projects worth more than $4 billion. His experience includes 25 years as the Founder and Principal of Niemeyer & Associates, a full-service railroad engineering firm that V3 acquired in 2014.
