VanTrust Real Estate, LLC recently broke ground on the Platte International Commerce Center in Platte City, Missouri.
Three class-A buildings accounting for 2.36 million square feet will be available for leasing to tenants, with specific spacing availability from 50,000 to 1.3 million square feet. The first speculative building will span 748,833 square feet and is expected to be shell complete by May 2024.
JLL’s Phillip Algrim, executive vice president, and Kevin Wilkerson, managing director, are leading the leasing assignment for VanTrust.
In addition to an optimal location in the Kansas City metro with immediate access to I-29 and I-435, the distribution center is ideally located nationally. Kansas City is regarded as a top location for ecommerce companies with the ability to reach most of the U.S. in two days or less, and the location provides access to the following major freight distribution markets within 12 hours: Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Indianapolis, Louisville, Memphis, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Nashville, Oklahoma City, Omaha and St. Louis.
