VanTrust Real Estate recently leased the Gateway 600 industrial spec building in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to Ingram Micro.
Ingram is the newest tenant at the River Ridge Commerce Center, a 6,000-acre business park in southern Indiana located within the Louisville, Kentucky, MSA. Ingram Micro, a provider of a full spectrum of global technology and supply chain services to businesses, signed a lease to fully occupy Gateway 600, a 592,800-square-foot distribution facility located on 40 acres at 250 Hilton Lane in Jeffersonville.
Gateway 600 is a speculative building developed by VanTrust Real Estate and completed earlier in 2017. The building is located at the “gateway” into the park from the new interchange at Interstate-275.
Earlier this year, River Ridge Commerce Center announced an economic impact of $1.7 billion in 2016 in Southern Indiana. Highlights include consistent increases in employment, labor income, economic value added, and economic output.
According to the Economic Impact Analysis Report released by Indianapolis-based Policy Analytics, LLC, employment within River Ridge has increased from approximately 650 in 2006 to 7,200 in 2016. Ingram Micro will continue to keep this trend moving upward as it brings more jobs to the six-county region.
