Ventas’ Robert Probst recognized as CFO of the year

Robert F. Probst, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Ventas, Inc. has been awarded the 2018 Chicago Public Company CFO of the Year by the Financial Executives International Chicago Chapter. The award was presented during the 8th Annual Chicago CFO of the Year Awards reception and dinner.

As a member of the Ventas executive leadership team, Probst plays a key role in all aspects of finance, accounting, IT, strategy and investor relations, as well as leading the senior living asset management portfolio which represents approximately half of the Chiicago-based REIT’s net operating income. Probst joined Ventas in 2014 after a career spanning a wide variety of business, financial and geographic positions in publicly-traded corporations, including as CFO of Beam, Inc. and, prior to that, senior roles at Baxter International and UK-based Diageo PLC.
