Executives are eager for workers to get back to the office, and recently, more and more companies have mandated it. Studies have shown that while remote work may boost output in the short term, it can come at a cost to the development of young workers, based on a recent video by CNN.
But not everyone agrees with this logic.
Others believe that a seat in a cubicle isn’t the magic solution, and it is employers’ responsibility to better train young staff and foster collaboration in a flexible work world.
