VP with Dayton’s Woolpert named president of ASPRS

Jeff Lovin, senior vice president and market director with Dayton, Ohio-based architecture and engineering firm Woolpert, was named president of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS).

Lovin was sworn in during the ASPRS annual conference program, portions of which are taking place online this year.

Lovin has worked with Woolpert for 33 years and was certified as a photogrammetrist by ASPRS in 2013. He has served on the board of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems, chaired the Coalition of Geospatial Organizations, served as president of MAPPS, was appointed to the National Geospatial Advisory Committee and was president of the Eastern Great Lakes Region of ASPRS.

Woolpert has been a sustaining member of ASPRS since 1982.
