Walker & Dunlop closes $66 million in HUD loans for seniors facilities in Wisconsin, Illinois

Walker & Dunlop closed $66 million in HUD loans for seven senior facilities between October 2023 and February 2024. The skilled nursing and memory care centers are comprised of 376 total units and are located across Illinois and Wisconsin.

W&D’s Midwest FHA Finance team led by Joshua Rosen, Brad Annis and Johnny Rice arranged the loans on behalf of five clients.

ILLINOIS

  • Elevate Care Waukegan (Waukegan, IL)
    • $21.2 million 232/223(f) HUD loan to refinance existing debts and fund capital improvements
  • Asbury of Kankakee (Kankakee, IL)
    • $12.6 million 241(a)-NC addition HUD loan to finance repairs and a 56-unit addition
  • Allure of Galesburg (Galesburg, IL)
    • $10.8 million 232/223(f) HUD loan to refinance the recent commercial bank bridge financing
  • Allure of Moline (Moline, IL)
    • $8.4 million 232/223(f) HUD loan to refinance the recent commercial bank bridge financing
  • Aperion Care St. Elmo (St. Elmo, IL)
    • $4.3 million 232/223(f) HUD loan to refinance existing debts and fund capital improvements

WISCONSIN

  • Crossroads Care Center of Sun Prairie (Sun Prairie, WI)
    • $6.5 million 232/223(f) HUD loan to refinance the recent commercial bank bridge financing
  • Crossroads Care Center of Fond Du Lac (Fond Du Lac, WI)
    • $1.7 million 232/223(f) HUD loan to refinance the recent commercial bank bridge financing
