Walker & Dunlop in 2011 raised more than $75,000 for Fannie Mae’s Help the Homeless Program through the company’s annual fund-raising efforts. Since 2006, Walker & Dunlop has raised more than $400,000 for the program.
Help the Homeless raises awareness and funds for Washington metropolitan-area organizations that are working to prevent and end homelessness, with an emphasis on programs that help homeless people return to independent living. The program also fosters volunteerism in service to the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless.
