Waterton announces new EVP of operations

Waterton, a national real estate investor and operator, today announced that Stephanie Brock will join the firm as executive vice president, operations. Ms. Brock will be responsible for leading the firm’s operations team and driving the overall operations strategy for the firm’s growing national multifamily portfolio of more than 24,400 units.

Ms. Brock joins Waterton on November 16, based in Denver, CO, and will report directly to Waterton CEO and Chairman David Schwartz.

With more than 30 years of experience in the multifamily sector, Ms. Brock is a seasoned executive with extensive national operational experience. As an industry thought-leader with an entrepreneurial spirit and a champion of technology and innovation, she brings a broad strategic perspective to the firm that reaches beyond the property management function.

Prior to joining Waterton, Ms. Brock served as the senior vice president of multifamily asset management and operations at McWhinney Real Estate Services, co-leading the multifamily business unit and leading the firm’s entry into the Texas market by way of acquisition. She previously served as president of US Residential, responsible for operations at more than 40,000 units in 35 markets across the country, and as senior managing director for Greystar Real Estate’s Central Mountain Division, comprising 50,000 units in 18 states. She has excelled in integrating property operations,  enhancing shared services, adopting technology, standardizing marketing, and growing ancillary business income throughout her career.
