Waterton announces new VP of portfolio management

Waterton, a national real estate investor and operator, today announced the hiring of Kate Moran as vice president of portfolio management. 

Ms. Moran will focus on implementing the investment strategies for a select group of Waterton’s multifamily communities with a goal to optimize each asset’s performance and maximize its value. Ms. Moran will work closely with acquisitions and capital markets, property operations, design and construction, the portfolio management team, accounting and investor relations.

With 15 years of experience in asset management and capital markets, Ms. Moran brings a wealth of knowledge in portfolio & asset management, development, debt and equity origination and disposition execution to the team. Prior to joining Waterton, she was a vice president, asset manager for Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, providing oversight and management of partner relationships across a portfolio of individual real estate investments. Prior to Harrison Street, Kate served as vice president at Cohen Financial, brokering debt and equity and vice president of asset management at Blue Vista Capital.
