Weidner Apartment Homes acquired LakeHaus Apartments, a 200-unit, class-A community in Minneapolis’s West Maka Ska neighborhood.
LakeHaus is an 8-story mid-rise building positioned along the Bde Maka Ska and the Midtown Greenway, surrounded by Cedar Lake and Lake of the Isles. The acquisition is near Weidner’s other community, Marbella on Dean Apartments, and brings the company’s portfolio to over 7,260 units in the Twin Cities.
LakeHaus is situated in a highly walkable area, just one block from 155,000 square feet of retail space at Greenway Lakes Commons and Calhoun Commons. It’s also within three miles of St. Louis Park and Edina, with proximity to the Linden Hills and 50th & France, the Shoppes at West End, and the award-winning Methodist Hospital.
Residents will enjoy access to the future Southwest Light Rail Green Line, Highway 7, and the West Metro, making commutes to downtown seamless, offering employment opportunities at 15 Fortune 500 companies, access to world-class sports and entertainment at the U.S. Bank Stadium and Target Field, and cultural experiences at the Guthrie Theater and Mill City Museum.
Weidner Apartment Homes is the sole owner and manager of LakeHaus Apartments. The company is excited to expand in Minneapolis and continue providing the community with high-end, quality rental homes.
